HighQ - The HR Club
About Us
Founded in 2014, HighQ – The HR Club is the dynamic heartbeat of the MBA (HRD) program at Delhi School of Economics, dedicated to shaping future HR leaders. As the youngest core committee, we bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world HR expertise, empowering students with essential competencies. Through a culture of academic excellence, we strengthen knowledge, address learning gaps, and cultivate a powerhouse of HR talent, ensuring our members are not just prepared but ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of human resources.
This goal of achieving core HR competencies and academic excellence is fulfilled by working on three important fronts:
-
Creating an atmosphere of academic rigor,
-
Plugging of the students’ academic vulnerabilities, and
-
Creating a formidable talent pool with a functional knowledge of the HR subjects.
HighQ successfully organized Samvadshala, a month-long GDPI (Group Discussion & Personal Interview) prep series that equipped MBA-HRD students with essential skills to excel in interviews and discussions. Through interactive GD simulations, mock interviews, and expert feedback, participants gained valuable insights, improved their communication, and honed their critical thinking abilities. The sessions fostered a dynamic peer-learning environment, helping students build confidence and refine their approach to structured discussions.

HR Round Table:
HighQ – The HR Club, in collaboration with People Business, organized an HR Round Table, providing a valuable platform for insightful discussions on current HR trends and practices. This initiative fostered meaningful dialogue, enabling participants to engage with industry experts and gain deeper insights into the evolving HR landscape.

AcadEx:
The Academic sessions that are regularly conducted by Team HighQ are based on the core motive of promoting synergic learning and Development of an individual. The Senior batch and volunteers from the junior batch teach and impart knowledge of their favourite HR subjects and concepts to their fellow batchmates. Such sessions enable the seamless transfer of knowledge and collective growth of the batch.
BNA & Conundrum:
The HR Club organizes the Business News Analysis (BNA) series and CONUNDRUM, providing students with valuable opportunities to enhance their analytical and strategic thinking skills. Through BNA, participants subscribed to People Matters magazine, sourced insightful articles, and summarized key takeaways, broadening their understanding of HR and talent management trends. Meanwhile, CONUNDRUM, a dynamic case study series, challenged students with real-world HR scenarios, encouraging them to apply their knowledge and problem-solving abilities. With regular evaluations and a competitive leaderboard, both initiatives fostered continuous learning and professional growth.
Workshop Series:
HighQ – The HR Club organized comprehensive workshops on Excel, Power BI, and HR Simulation, equipping students with essential skills in data management, visualization, and strategic HR decision-making. The Excel and Power BI sessions enhanced spreadsheet proficiency, data analysis, and storytelling, while the HR Simulation workshop offered hands-on experience in tackling real-world HR challenges. Through interactive learning, expert guidance, and practical applications, participants strengthened their problem-solving abilities, preparing them for academic and professional success.
